My Approaches to Therapy
I practice an integrative model of therapy. I am a Humanistic Psychotherapist and Counsellor. My counselling experience focuses on Person-Centred Counselling (also known as a Client-Centred Counselling). The counsellor or psychotherapist in this approach aims to provide an environment in which you, my client, do not feel under threat or judged. This enables you to experience and accept more of who you are as a person, and reconnect with your own values and sense of self-worth.
This reconnection with their inner resources enables you to find your own way of moving forward

I work within the guidelines of the BACP ethical framework. Part of this framework requires us to form a working agreement that includes time for regular reviews of our work and time for reflection on ethics in Counselling.
